The Platte County Pirate Booster Club Hall of Fame Next Hall of Fame Induction Game:
September 14, 2007 The Hall of Fame seeks to recognize those who have contributed significantly to the academic, athletic, or extra-curricular traditions of the Platte County R-III School District. The name of the newest member will be added to the Hall of Fame plaque that is displayed in the main Platte County High School trophy case. A permanent monument for the Pirate Hall of Fame has recently been constructed at the PC end of Pirate Stadium. The design of the monument was proposed by former Asst. Superintendent Ron Harmon and funds for construction were provided by the Platte County R3 School District. The Pirate Booster Club has agreed to provide the funding for individualized bricks which will commemorate each new and existing member of the Pirate Hall of Fame on the floor of the new monument. Nominations for the Hall of Fame are solicited from the public through nomination forms that are available at the Platte County R-III District offices or from members of the Booster Club. The Pirate Hall of Fame selection committee is made up of community members, Pirate Booster Club officials and current members of the Hall of Fame. For the past eight years, the Booster Club has honored special men and women who have made significant contributions to our young people. We hope to have a place at PCPirateBoosterClub.com where we can honor these great people. If you would like to nominate someone for the Hall of Fame, please download and fill out the nomination form. Send it back to the Booster Club. Click here to view or download the nomination form.
